| Video Converter Plus! is a script that allows you to convert audio and video through a very user-friendly interface. The conversion is done by a program called FFMPEG, a very powerul encoder and decoder that allows conversions between almost every video and audio format. This script is not just a graphical user interface for FFMPEG. It has lots of additional features. For example, plug-in modules can add extra functionality, such as queueing an entire folder, rather than selecting all files one by one. A multilingual interface will improve your experience and a system-tray icon allows you to easily access the script menu, in case you already had many scripts displaying menu entries. Conversion profiles are there for you if you often convert to a specific format. Also, a fully functional web browser is integrated, allowing you to view help documents and such. For a full list of features, please consult my webpage or the help documents; the latter being accessible through the script menu. Commands usage is also a bit different from what you may be used to. Again, please consult the help documents. Please note that this script is still in the beta stage, so there may be some unexpected (but not seriuos) flaws. Updated version 2.60.016: - Video Converter Plus! is no longer distributed with FFMPEG; instead, the executables are downloaded from this website - Notification & update systems work like they used to, after the transition to Google Sites - A ton of internal URL changes after the transition... - The Changes field in the Update centre now works - Languages can be deleted, except English - Both the scripts' menu item and the system-tray icon can be displayed at the same time |
